Two words: transporter technology. While the Star Wars universe has a far stronger world of ships, the Star Trek universe has the ability to beam things(bombs), etc etc. Or how about locking onto all the lifeforms of the imperial destroyer and beaming them into space. Then boarding the ship and next thing you know Data is figuring out how to fly the ship. Although spacefaring technology in the Star Wars universe is far far older, and they may have abandoned particle transporters thousands of years before, and be keen to the technology. If Jedi's are involved at all, then all hell would break loose for Star Trek. One Jedi could change the tide of any battle. Who wins? The Fans.

OF course Starwars. Vader should be there, and not far behind is the death star, anyways at anytime they can depoy the countless tie fighters, and some bombers fighter out to wack the starship enterprise.. what is the enterprise gonna go? yeah it got shields, but for how long? ya it can blast.. but it cant blast all the tie fighters.. so many of them... then we got the bomber fighters to continously bomb the shields, u know enterprise shields cant handle too many bombing attacks... and u can only have shields or blasters... so once shield is down.. all tie fighters wack the starship.. take note .. enterprise has no fighter ships.. so its a sitting duck.. it can try to blast the destroyers.. while tie fighters is blasting it to shreads... and then before u know it.. Darth vader.. and troopers will board the starship enterprise... slay all the crew... come on phasers vs the dark side force? phasers has no chance star trek wont just lose.. they would be totally destroyed...

Star Trek would win. The tie fighter had no shields, and the phasers from the main dish can fire the full 360 degrees around the ship. Additionally there would be no miss since the combat computer controls the targeting. For the larger Star Wars ships with shields, the phasers would still penetrate their shields. The entire design behind the phaser was that the beam actually changed frequency rapidly while firing to penetrate shielded vessels. The Star Trek vessels have impulse engines for typical cruising and battle. Impulse speed ranges from a snails pace to .25% of light speed. At maximum impulse speed, a Star Trek vessel can outrun the fighters, and can still out maneuver the larger Star Wars vessels.

Star Trek, only because the "technology" in that series is all over the map that they'd reconfigure whatever weapon/shield/holodeck/replicator/geeky fantasy device in an hour and win the day. This is why I hate Star Trek so much. But then, either of them could make a suicide run or pick up an ansteroid and ramp up to light or warp and plow right through the other. I don't care how good your shields are, you are toast.

I was just about to make the point that Star Wars weapons can't penetrate Star Trek shields, but it was already made above. To further, only the larger Star Wars ships have any sort of shields and they are simple deflector types. Phasers would cut right through them. Star Trek would easily win hands down, even if they are drastically outnumbered.

The empire vs Star Trek... Can't you see The empire is a lot bigger than the enterprise. So if the empire ship is the navy ship then the enterprise would be the whore ship docking. That's why it's called "Enterprise" , it's "whore enterprise". i just have to say... first of all star wars would win because. star trek is lame. also the whole shield debate is irrelevant as both sides have shields and different weapons and who's to say what would do what when. there have been several times when the star trek ships have had their shields damaged or been in a position where they might die because the shields have been put down somehow so obviously they are not perfect. same goes for star wars. second, last time i checked the transporters from star trek couldn't just pick up random crap or people. they had to have a com link thingy if i recall correctly, i admit i rarely even watch star trek so i could be wrong. but most importantly......... in star trek they are far far away from earth where they came from..... no back up can arrive there quickly. so it's one ship vs. the entire imperial army which i might add has the death star.....which i promise you CAN breech the shields of the uss enterprise( that's the one shown so that's the one we are using . but my most important point is WHO THE FUCK CARES? why the heck did this crap make it to the front page of shoutwire? so happy you dont 'have to reg to comment otherwise i'd never get the chance to write this.

Lets take out the Enterprise and add the USS Defiant and a few Birds of Prey. The only bad ass ship the Federation has within its posession. Except for the Enterprise E, but thats a completely different debate. As a guy know knows he's about to get flogged I will put this info out there. I have both technical manuals for Star Wars and Star Trek TNG. Yes you can beam anything. All you need is a lifesign or general coordinate. As for the phasers vs tie fighters. The ships deflector array as well as phasers can be configured for wide beam dispersal. So either the Defiant or Enterprise can swat a squadron of tie fighters easily. The only real worry is the Star Destroyers point defense weapons. Which is why I would choose the Defiant. The ability to cloak on an attack run approach would eliminate that worry. Jedi? beam these bastards right into space and let the Klingons deal with the Storm Troopers. Star Fleet can handle the rest by taking control of various systems wirelessly without even getting in harms way. Sheilding is an issue for the Imperials. All they have is a deflector and nothing more. They cant prevent beaming or avoid photon torpedos. Plus The Defiant disruptors would tear any imperial ship to pieces. I welcome any and all challengers on this. Star Trek tech can be beat by the Imperials or anyone else in the Star Wars Universe. The Borg wouldnt even bother with the Imperials. They're too primitive.
